Hey ppl!

I don't use this space muc anymore as i found myspace to be much better, but i may aswell give an update on my amazingly normal and not particularly extraordinary groovy life.

I've just finished my first year of uni and i can't believe how quick its gone, its scary! Its been brilliant and i'm looking forward to next yr already, my friends here are awesome, an whats better is i now get a few months at home to catch up with the ppl there.  Best of two worlds this whole uni thing, aside from that, not much has changed, i'm still me, my friends are still groovy, i still have no job and am still enjoying life.  Not much more to say really.  I hope to have groovy summer hols, get a job and get good exam results, if anyone wants to chat or is remotely interested in anything here, leave a comment n i'll get back to u.

Well a very happy new year to everyone!

Back at uni and glad of it.  The hols were generally good, but tis nice to return to my little rural campus again and see my flatmates and friends. 

I was shocked to find, upon entering the student bar that the pool tables have been removed! No pool!!!

Well i suppose i do have exams looming - which will suck Big Time.

 

Anyway the SU bar are getting new pool tables but y they cudn't keep the old 1's till the new 1's arrive i dont kno!

So i shall now spend my time pottering round, revising and catching up with ppl.

And when the new tables arrive- It's pool time!

Well so far this week i've had 2 xmas dinners, one with my flat and one with my friends flat and its not even properly into December yet!   They were both awesome and had a great time at A2 last nite.  The reason for this early celebrating is that we break up from uni for the Xmas hols in 2 days, so are having a good time before we leave.  This weeks been groovy but now i just can't wait to get home and see everyone in Manchester- This is gonna be a great holiday, i can tell!

On friday it was our biology fieldtrip to Newquay Zoo, we set off in the mornin and had a good look round - the weather was freezing and we managed to do a good impression of the penguins huddling.  Then as it came to about 2pm it started snowing, living in Manchester, I've never seen anything like it, it was fantastic. The whole place was white in minutes.  Following some localised snowball fights it was decided that we shud leave early as the roads were becoming icy.  It was too late however and after much wheelspinning trying to get up hills on the roads back to tremough, our minibuses had to turn back towards Newquay.  Even so, we didnt get far and ended up abandoning our minibuses and walking to a pub in Newquay (with plenty of snowball fights along the way).  We stayed the night in a surf lodge only returnin home when the snow melted the following morning.

Saturday some of the girls from my flat and myself went to get our xmas tree, which is now standing proudly in our kitchen, the rest of the day was spent making some home made decorations for said tree.  In the evening, my two biologist friends came over for a girly film night and sleep-over, which didnt end until sunday evening! Brilliant laugh - definately has to become a regular thing! Except next time with some more alcohol (white chocolate vodka shots, methinks) and some more chocolate coffee bean thingies!
